MEET OUR TEAM

All the staff work as one dedicated, friendly, professional team. The team members are as follows:

VETS

James McCance. Graduated from Edinburgh University in 1986. After 6 years in mixed general practice, my wife Sue and I took on Bond Street Veterinary Clinic from David Hopkins in 1993. I have worked here since and enjoy surgery and the interaction with colourful personalities in the consulting room. At the weekend I can be found walking dogs, fishing or shouting "encouragement" to my son at the edge of a rugby or cricket pitch.

Sue McCance. Educated Macclesfield High School for Girls, Graduated from Edinburgh University in 1988, worked in a mixed practice in Wales for 18months before travelling for 6months including 2months small animal work in New Zealand. I returned to the UK, got married to James McCance (partner) and worked in a small animal practice in Derby. Returned to Macclesfield in 1993 when James and I bought Bond Street Veterinary Clinic from David Hopkins.

Jon Harper. Qualified from Liverpool University with Distinction, latterly gaining a post-graduate Certificate in Veterinary Radiology. After spending 5 years in a small animal clinic in Staffordshire, I moved to Cheshire, working for a large group practice in Northwich, then Wilmslow, before settling at Bond Street in 2000. I became a partner in 2003 and enjoy all aspects of companion animal practice. I enjoy my running, hill walking (normally accompanied by my rescue dogs!) and foreign travel to the mountains.

Suzanne Millington. Graduated from Edinburgh University in 2002. After 18months in mixed practice in Cumbria I moved back to Macclesfield in 2004 and have worked at Bond Street since then. I am currently studying for a postgraduate qualification in canine and feline medicine. In my spare time I enjoy walking, eating out and growing my own vegetables.

Lynsey Hayward. Graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2001. After a few years in mixed practice in other parts of the country, I was drawn back to Macclesfield and joined Bond Street in 2005. I enjoy anything surgical, from mice through to Great Danes. I also love good food a challenging pub quiz, and watching my lurcher play second fiddle to my cat!
