James graduated from Edinburgh University in 1986 and went on to do 6 years in mixed general practice. Sue and he brought Bond Street Veterinary Clinic in 1993.
He enjoys surgery and the interaction with colourful personalities in the consulting room.
At the weekend he can be found walking his 3 dogs, fishing or mountain biking.
Sue grew up in Macclesfield and then went to Edinburgh University in 1988. She then worked in a mixed animal practice in Wales for 18 months before travelling for 6 months including 2 months small animal work in New Zealand.
Sue then returned to the UK, married James and worked in a small animal practice in Derby.
In 1993 Sue and James bought Bond Street Veterinary Clinic from David Hopkins. She now works Mondays and Tuesdays but has a busy home life with 3 children, 3 horses, 1 cat and 2 dogs.
Jon qualified from Liverpool University with Distinction, latterly gaining a post-graduate Certificate in Veterinary Radiology. After spending 5 years in a small animal clinic in Staffordshire, he moved to Cheshire, working for a large group practice in Northwich, then Wilmslow, before settling at Bond Street in 2000. He then became a partner in 2003.
Jon's 'running career' was curtailed by a fractured femur in 2012 ; now cycling is the new running !
This year I was lucky enough to cycle and chat with several Tour de France riders on the Col de la Madone in France , including Richie Porte
14.5 year old Dora is the only current canine companion , but still enjoys as many walks as she can .
The hills have become her mountains nowadays !
Suzanne graduated from The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh in 2002. After this she moved to a mixed animal practice in west Cumbria and spent a happy 18 months dealing with animals of all sizes.
In 2004 she then moved to Bond Street Vets to work with just small animals. In 2011 she completed a qualification in small animal medicine.
She enjoys walking, gardening and baking/eating cakes.
Lynsey graduated in 2001 from the University of Glasgow. She then spent a few years in mixed practice before joining Bond Street Vets in 2005.
Lynsey enjoys surgery and is happy to treat all sizes of patient, from mice to Great Danes.
When she isn't at work, she helps to run her Dairy farm and look after her 2 little boys. She also enjoys walking with her dog, baking and the occasional game of badminton.
Pauline graduated from Uppsala University in Sweden in 1994. She then worked in a very busy small animal and equine practice in Hull for some years.
She then went on to a first opinion and referral practice in Manchester for several years until she started a family.
Whilst at Bond Street Vets, Pauline completed her GP Certificate in Feline Medicine in 2013.
She works here on Thursdays and Fridays and loves working with geriatric cats.
In her spare time, Pauline enjoys fell running, cycling and triathlon events.
Fiona graduated from the University of Bristol in 2007. She worked at a mixed practice in the midlands for 5 years, which she thoroughly enjoyed, but decided to hang up her wellies to pursue her primary interest in small animal work.
She then worked for approximately 18 months at a 1st opinion and referral practice in Manchester and joined Bond Street Veterinary Clinic in October 2013.
She very much enjoys soft tissue surgery and endocrine medicine.
In her spare time she is a keen horse rider, mountain biker, skier and tries to get away on backpacking holidays whenever she can.
After 2 years of hard work Fiona has recently passed her Postgraduate Certificate (PgC) in small animal medicine.

Carol has worked at Bond Street since 1993. She completed her Certificate in Management in 1997 at Manchester Metropolitan University and ensures the practice is always running smoothly.
Carol is a cavalier lover and has one of her own called 'Trudie'. She also has a male cat called Olive.
She has recently become a grandmother and loves to spend time with her 2 grandchildren as well as going away in her caravan as much as she can.
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Laura studied a National Certificate in Animal Management at Reaseheath College in 2007. She then went on to training as a Veterinary Nurse at Bond Street Veterinary Clinic in December 2008.
She qualified in March 2014 and studied further to gain a qualification as an SQP in 2015.
Laura was then appointed Head Nurse position in December 2015.
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Penny joined the practice in June 2015. She trained at Nantwich Veterinary Hospital and qualified in 2014 after attending Lite College one day a week in St Helens.
Penny enjoys running nursing clinics and would like to study emergency and critical care further.
Penny has a Staffie called 'Smokey' which she enjoys walking around Bollington.
